The BioPro processors use sulfuric acid as part of the process to make high-quality Biodiesel. Because it can be difficult to find, we are pleased to offer you an easy way to obtain this necessary item in handy, pre-measured bottles. You may be able to find larger jugs of sulfuric acid that you could portion into these bottles once they are empty. Although the acid in these bottles is 98% pure, you can use 93% just fine.

We've made a special arrangment with AGR Energy, LLC to offer you extremely high-grade sulfuric acid that's perfect for use with a BioPro 190 Automated Biodiesel Processor. You'll get (5) bottles of 190 mL of pre-measured high-grade BioPro compatible sulfuric acid.

This package deal is so unique that it's even shipped via Fed-Ex Ground right to your door. The bottles come packaged in air-tight containers right from AGR Energy.

Instead of having to measure out the sulfuric acid, you simply unscrew the top and pour the pre-measured contents directly into the BioPro 190. We were really impressed! We think it's a great way to be just that much cleaner and safer when making Biodiesel and highly recommend this great item.

Suggestion: Buy a 5 pack with the premeasured 190 ml per batch, and then also buying a 5 gallon carboy of it that you can use to refill your small bottles. Cascade carries the 5 gal carboy for about $53. See other chemical suppliers in your area. Note: The sulfuric should be 93% pure or higher.

Potassium hydroxide (KOH or caustic potash): Cheapest if you buy 55 lb bag. In the Seattle area, KOH is around $1 per pound if you buy it this way. Tarr, Inc in Auburn has best price currently. Cascade also carries it. See my supplies page for details.

Methanol sources: See supplies page for local suppliers. Prices vary- cheapest to buy by the 55 gal (165 lb) drum, and often cheaper to buy 2 drums. For more than 2 drums, a special permit is required to transport hazardous materials.
